These Terms govern your use of hoppit. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use hoppit.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use hoppit only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Tell us promptly at support@hoppit.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
hoppit is a social habit-challenge app: small groups of friends check in once a day with a real-time photo or short video captured through the in-app camera, encourage each other, and build streaks. Check-in media disappears after about a day. hoppit is currently free — there are no purchases or payments in the app.
You keep ownership of the photos, videos, and other content you create. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your content within hoppit solely to operate the service. Check-in media is deleted on the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to:
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other members or the service. You may stop using hoppit at any time and delete your account in the app.
hoppit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, hoppit and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless hoppit and its operator from claims arising out of your content or your misuse of the service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If you continue using hoppit after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in British Columbia for any dispute.
